Mr. Lang has been the president of TCGI since April 2000. As president, Mr. Lang is TCGI’s chief executive officer and responsible for all long and short range business activities. Previously, Mr. Lang was an executive with the Chicago Transit Authority and retired as the Senior Vice President, Technology Development. Mr. Lang was responsible for the introduction of new transportation technologies and the management of new technology projects and programs. Mr. Lang was also responsible for the planning, implementing and maintaining of all corporate information technology systems. Prior to this position, Mr. Lang held executive positions as the Senior Vice President of Purchasing and Warehousing, head of the Rail Vehicle Maintenance Division and head of Engineering & Maintenance Capital Programs. Earlier in his career Mr. Lang held various management and professional positions in the rail, bus and facilities Operations & Maintenance divisions.

In 1990, Mr. Lang received the Superior Public Service award as the Outstanding Executive in Cook County for his work at CTA. As a result of his work in the area of Fuel Cells for transportation, Mr. Lang has been the guest speaker at numerous conferences in Europe, North America, the United Nations and the University of California-Davis. He is a member of the Alternative Fuels Committee and the Information Technology Committee for the American Public Transportation Association.
